Weed Clearance Campaign 2026
If weeds accumulate, mosquitoes and other harmful insects breed there, which increases the risk of diseases like dengue and malaria. We want our institution to be free from these diseases and everyone to live safely. Moreover, I believe that each of us has a responsibility towards society. Out of that sense of responsibility, we have participated in small initiatives like weed control, because I know that small actions pave the way for big changes.
We, along with 5 Rover Scouts from our organization, participated in the weed cleaning program. Our main objective was to create a clean, green and healthy campus. If weeds accumulate, the mosquito infestation increases and this increases the health risk of students. Therefore, we believe that we need to fulfill our respective responsibilities to protect the environment. With this in mind, we work together and are committed to continue such awareness programs in the future.
By participating in the weed control program, we not only understood the importance of keeping the environment clean, but also gained experience in working as a team. We learned that any task is easier when done together, and its impact is much greater. This program has awakened our sense of responsibility and taught us that small initiatives can bring big changes in society. We also realized that to create a healthy environment, such cleaning programs need to be continued regularly.
