THE WEDNESDAY DRIVE

I was highly inspired from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that provides food to the needy. Its motto "SERVE THE HUNGRY CITIZEN" motivated me a lot to work and do something for the society.
I am a rover and I belong to North 24 Parganas(Barrackpore Local Association). Taking much inspiration from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that serves food to the needy and also to commemorate the death anniversary of my grandfather, I along with my family members decided to provide food and other daily necessities such as rice, soyabean, mustard oil, soap, puffed rice, milk etc. to 50 underprivileged families in and around my locality.
By carrying out the same, I was able to help out 50 needy families with food such as rice, soyabean, pulses, milk, puffed rice etc. and other basic necessities such as soap, shampoo, sanitizer, mask etc.
I've learnt that when you donate food or feed the needy for atleast a day or two, the amount of satisfaction you get from within is immeasurable. You also get to motivate many of the people living around you so that some day in the future they can also do something for the society.
