WEB RANGERS ONLINE SAFETY TRAINING

Scouts from Kenya, comprising of Rover Scouts and Scout Leaders took part in an online Safety training at ACK Immanuel Church in Kiambu County. The objective of the training was to equip young children who are exposed to the internet with skills on how to be safe online and to use the internet responsibly. Over 400 young children and teenagers took part in the training. A number of them joined Scouting, and plans are already underway to establish a Scout group in the church. The training was made possible by a partnership between Kenya Scouts Association and Content Development and Intellectual Property Trust (CODE- IP).
