We Need Oxygen - Green Skill -INDIA Phase 4

We was inspired to start this project to celebrate its 76th Foundation Day, aligning with its mission to promote environmental sustainability and community service. while contributing to a greener environment. By organizing a dynamic one-day camp with activities like tree plantation, plastic collection, and sustainability workshops, the group sought to embody the spirit of service and environmental stewardship, inspiring future generations of leaders
We welcomed with a refreshing drink and divided into school-wise patrols, promoting teamwork and unity. A plastic-free awareness session followed, where students collected single-use plastics and transformed waste into creative items. Sustainability initiatives included building a campfire circle with bottle bricks and planting 184 saplings. The event culminated in a valedictory ceremony, where certificates and mementos honored participants' efforts.
The event showcased how collective action can drive positive change, as 770 participants came together to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste. Hands-on activities like transforming waste into creative items and planting saplings instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The experience highlighted the importance of celebrating milestones like Foundation Day through meaningful initiatives, inspiring future leaders
