We Need Oxygen - Green Skill -INDIA Phase 3

The project was inspired by Gandhi Jayanti, a day to honor Mahatma Gandhi's values of simplicity, sustainability, and community service. The Bharat Scouts and Guides aimed to promote environmental stewardship and community involvement, aligning with Gandhi's vision and green skill project. The event embodied his spirit through tree planting, plastic collection, and eco-friendly initiatives, empowering youth to drive positive change.
The project was executed through a well-planned one-day camp, involving registration and welcome, school-wise patrols, plastic-free awareness, sustainability initiatives, and a valedictory ceremony. Participants collected single-use plastics, transformed waste into creative items, and planted 86 saplings, promoting environmental stewardship. The event combined adventure, education, and community service, inspiring thoughtful leaders.
The event highlighted the value of collective action in creating positive change, as 320 participants came together to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste. The hands-on activities, such as transforming discarded waste into creative items and planting saplings, instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The inspiring future leaders to prioritize eco-conscious actions and community welfare.
