We are scouts so we learn/teach as many thing as possible to our students

In the classroom, we teach our students what is there in the textbook. So, take learning beyond the classroom, I and my friend Warden teach students the gardening and also plays. With the help our small students aged 6 to 10 from classes PP to III, we made small garden. They were involved during sowing the seeds: Maize, cucumber, Pumpkin, peas, tomatoes are growing now. Every evening they would come and then say 'sir, our vegetables are growing tall'. They were ones carrying sacksful of cow-dung (manure) for our manure. Often in the evening, I start uprooting unwanted weeds and so they also join me. Each evening i make sure they play something to be healthy. I also, play with them. They have now the sense of ownership for our garden. They say "These are our gardens". They are learning outdoor skills and also life skills. They are all scouts.
