From 5th to 9th of May 2016 lasted XXVI traditional Ukrainian moot for scouts, volunteer groups and youth organizations "By the ways of Cossacks" with slogan "Ukraine starts with me!" This year for the first time among the participants was children from families of internally displaced from Lugansk and Donetsk region., Crimea, living in Kyiv and Odesa region. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Public Organization "National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine" and Kyiv city center of social services for families, children and youth/ According to a good tradition gathering took place in the forest near the village Wygraiv on the hospitable Cherkasy’s land, Korsun-Shevchenkivsky district. During the event, children were able expand their knowledge about nature, history, customs, traditions and culture of their country. In honor of memory and reconciliation, participants created a map of Ukraine from hand-made paper poppies. At the end of the event Records Book of Ukraine issued us a certificate to establish a new record of Ukraine! Moot was held to foster patriotism, promote healthy lifestyles among young people, socialization of children and young people and promoting scout movement.
