WalkSide By Rovs Project on Rovers Centenary Hike

WalkSide By Rovs Project on Rovers Centenary Hike

On July 12, 2018, I joined a day program conducted by World Scout Bureau at Kiara Hill Walk for hiking in conjunction of International Youth Day and Rovers Centenary 2018. It is a small group activity yet o exciting where we are all bond together on that hiking. We also play games along the way, sang songs while walking in the forest and shared stories of our personal scouting experiences. Since we are scouts and we are also a rover, we still stick to our motto "to serve" and we doing forest cleaning while hiking. What really surprised me that the forest doea not need to do much cleaning as it already cleaned by the hiker. Apart from that, as a member of WalkSide By Rovs Project I did not miss the chance to promote our project to scouts that came to hike with us and we also collected bottle caps during our hike. It is not much but we got around 25 bottle caps at Kiara Hill Walk. I hope this project will gain more support from young people and the community on 31st August 2018 for our final project day to create a sidewalk using bottle caps.
