Volunteer Staff Spring 2019 at the World Scout Centre

Volunteer Staff Spring 2019 at the World Scout Centre

Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) is "the permanent Jamboree", a place where Scouts from all over the world can meet year round. Beautifully located in Kandersteg, Switzerland, it welcomes more than 14 000 guests from over 50 countries every year.

The Centre is run by an International volunteer Staff team, who spend between 3 months - 3 years ensuring that BP's dream of "the Permanent Mini Jamboree" is kept alive. The amount of service hours is the total amount of work from our Staff team of 47 volunteers during the last 3 months.

In Spring 2019, 10 new Short Term Staff joined the Volunteer Staff Team at KISC and completed the Staff team for a great Spring season. Scouts from Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Malaysia, South Africa, Brasil, Australia, Portugal and Guatemala joined the Pinkie Team at the World Scout Centre.

Spring is the time for the Centre to welcome fewer Guests but moreover complete many improvement projects and deep cleaning task lists. It is the time to get ready for the busy Summer ahead.

Thank you to all the Volunteer Staff who made the Permanent Mini Jamboree come alive in Spring 2019.
