Vitamin A Plus Campaign
Bogura Polytechnic Institute Rover Scout Group actively contributes to child health by ensuring vitamin A supplementation for underprivileged children. Our community service impacts local residents, emphasizing collective well-being. Additionally, we raise maternal awareness about vitamin A’s significance. Our commitment reflects dedication to public health and community service.
We executed the Vitamin A Plus Campaign with proper planning, awareness campaigns, and vaccination administration. Our unit volunteered at the program held at Bogura sadar, on JUNE 1 ,2024
Scouts were educated on the 'Expanded Program of Immunization' (EPI) and the issues of Vitamin A vaccination. Red Vit-A capsules were given to children over 12 months & less than 5 years, whereas Blue Vit-A capsules were given to children less than 12 months to 6montha children
