DAV Airoli Scout & Guide students visited Navy Nagar, Colaba on 28 Nov2015 to 28 Nov 2015 for navy day celebration. They payed a visit to the naval ship- INS Mysore(D 60). They were given a presentation on the life and working style of sailors on the ship, like, emergency exit from the ship, the transferring of edibles from one ship to another, defense techniques etc.They were also given an audio visual clip about working of a ship. The students enjoyed the interactive session with the Naval officers who were impressed by the answers given by the students. The students spent 7-8 hours in the ship and were inspired to join Indian Navy in future. It was a great learning experience for them.
