As we are the scout group called "izdos" from the city of İzmir, Turkey we had a great 15 km walk in natural and wild area, İzmir bird paradise with 70 scouts. Gediz Delta is one of important place for birds on 14.900 ha area with 314 plant types and 289 bird types, 1 ancient city, mounds, islands,..... It was a great day. all scouts had tried to take photo and identify the type of animals , especially birds. on paths, islands, between ancient walls, trees, wild horses,......... we followed their trails.... full of scouting, consciousness of protecting nature,.. fun and adventure and so close to us at the same time..
