VanMahotsav 2021
Basically VAN MOHOTSAV is an annual tree planting festival in the month of July. During this festival thousands of trees are planted all over India. It was started to create awareness in the mind of the people for the conservation of forests and planting of new trees. Van Mahotsava is celebrated as a festival of life.So plant trees to create a better future because we know nature is the future.
During the seven days programe ,on 1st day we planted trees at our own house,on 2nd day we planted trees with local people in colony areas,on 3rd day we had a awareness program ,on 4th day we made posters ,on 5th day we organised a rally,on 6th day we went for door to door campaign in connection with Vanmahotsav,on 7th day we had a session on Green Revolution by Dr. Biplab Karmakar,Head master of Katigorah Government High School.
Total 10 members of Badarpur district joined in the celebration of VanMahotsav and during seven days programe we reached to the most of the people of colony areas.The feedback from the people was too good as they were also helping in our project.Near about 150 people were connected with us and planted trees.
Nature is the future.So we have preserve the nature by planting trees and can get free oxygen as a blessings of nature.
