'USAHA' BAGDE CAMPING CAMP 2019

A total of 90 Young Scouts from all school in Balik Pulau district were arrived at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Rusa to attend this camp in order to pass all tests and gain the USAHA Badge before earning 2 more badges. This camp also was to teach the scouts some survival tips including scouts' education as there will be some tests to recognise them as a success scout. On Friday, the scouts were allowed to take rest and set up their own tents as the day almost dark with the guide from their own scout leaders at the school's field. I was incharge on patrolling to keep the scouts safe from harm during their nap for 2 days while other leaders were preparing for tomorrow activities.

Some of the activities that had been carry out during the camp were jungle signs and symbols, orienteering, basic marching, rope knots including treating wounds with the scouts' scarfs. All this event was carried out for the whole day with the help of the scouts' leaders and Pengakap Kelana Balik Pulau. For the test, the scouts were separated from each other for about 0.5 meter and being monitored by the leaders. The event was over on Sunday where all the scouts received USAHA Badges and recognition certificates to wear USAHA Badge at 1.30 p.m.
