The 41 Troop Leaders of the District of Bani, Pangasinan conducted its 1st District BSP Troop Leaders Skills Training on 18 January 2014 at the Bani East Integrated School.This is the first leg of the skills training is to enhancement and equipped the participants to the skills to be taught to their scouts, for it will be implemented to their institutions for the year-round activity. The objective of this training is to: a. update the Troop Leaders with scouts skills that will ensure effective delivery of instruction; b. Intensify activities, programs and projects for self-development in order to strengthen their capability in performing their responsibilities as Troop Leaders; and c. Plan the activities necessary for the effective development of the character of their Boy Scouts thereby enabling them to be responsible, disciplined,concerned, and self-reliant citizens in their home, in their Troop, in the institution, in their community, and in the outdoor. The following activities were conducted during the training: 1. Messengers of Peace Initiatives 2. Knot Tying 3. Lashings 4. Fire and Home Safety Management
