On 13th of Dec we gathered at the DYS ground at 9AM. Sir Dorj Wangchuk gave us instructions on what to do. We were told to go to the Cornation's park. The 15 of us marched towards Cornation park led by youth leader Choki Dorji. We were then told to come the next day to work as they had no work for the day. The next day 14th of Dec we gathered at the Cornation park and started helping the people there. We began by making "Hoentay" which is popular in Haa. The next day we helped every food corner. We had the opportunity to taste all the foods from 20 dzongkhag. The food festival lasted for 3 days that was from December 15th to 17th. On 18th Dec all the helpers were giving free food by His Majesty the 5th king at the Changlimithang stadium.
