TREES FOR FUTURE SCOUTING
Actually i was kind of lazy to join the activity because it was a nice saturday really refreshing cold day which i could just sleep through the day. But I just went with it. As hours goes by, I started to realise that it wasn't as boring as i thought it would be. It was actually really fun i learned quite a lot of things like, How to plant a tree, how to barbeque and so much more. It was so fun that i promised myself to join any suchlike activities, which would also be beneficial to the earth.
We were given many different types of plant. We had a total of 33 scouts joining the activities, so the leader divided us into 3 groups. 2 Groups were told to take a shovel and plant trees behind the scout building and the remaining group which was my group was told to plant in front of the building. Each scouts were given 2 plants and a tag to plant and tag the name of the plants.
The area of the scout headquarters used to had tons of trees and plants but it was being deforestation. Our scout teacher had an idea to plant trees in that area every month. So we planted trees there every month, it thought us how to take care and plant the trees and it also benefited the area because the area is back to being smelling cold and refreshing air like mother nature.
We learned that we should always take care of mother nature and to not cut down trees too often, even if we do we should plant it back like what SDGs said if we chop it down plant a new one. To be honest the event was already perfect we don't need to make it better. Is just a simple tasked of planting trees
