Trees for a better world.
Nature has always been the most essential and integral part of our lives. It underpins our very own existence seeing as how it has power in many forms that surround and nourish us every second. However, changes like technological advancement, pollution, and deforestation can trigger climate change. If we can't help resolve these issues, our nature will slowly decline and may affect us all.
In collaboration with Reserve Command Philippine Army and the 7th Infantry Division, tree planting and growing were held at Eco Park, Barangay Pagas, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
We planted approximately one hundred trees that help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to hundreds of different species.
Some may say that planting new trees alone cannot solve climate change—but when combined with well-planned strategies to protect and increase forest cover, tree planting and growing can be a great impact on the future.
It can change lives for the next generations as it trains communities on sustainable land use so that they can grow vibrant economies, thriving food systems, and a healthier planet.
