Tree planting with West Kalimantan PLN UIP
As a commitment to environmental care aimed at preserving terrestrial ecosystems and addressing climate change, Kwarda Kalbar, together with West Kalimantan PLN UIP, implemented a tree planting program through Corporate Social Responsibility.
This activity took place from October 5 to 8, 2022, at Sabang Merah Campground, Sanggau, involving nearly 700 Scouts from all over West Kalimantan, coinciding with the Community Development Camp in 2022. The trees planted on a 2-hectare area include fruit trees and economically valuable trees like matoa and agarwood.
The organization of this activity signifies the Scouts' ability to collaborate and engage West Kalimantan PLN UIP in efforts to enhance a positive image and participate in preserving existing ecosystems, thereby creating a positive impact on the environment among young people.
