TREE PLANTING AND CLEAN-UP PROJECT AT JPMMES.
Tree planting and clean-up initiatives are two of the monthly activities that our circle always accomplishes; we clean and plant trees in various sites, including schools, open green fields, and environmental parks. Even during the pandemic, we encouraged our members to plant fruit-bearing trees and vegetables in their backyards. This project's objective was to avoid global warming, mitigate the consequences of climate change, and rehabilitate the devastated ecology.
We plant approximately one hundred trees in the school's various gardens. We also asked the school head which areas of the school are needed to be cleaned, I assigned different tasks to each group. Some scouts carried branches of trees, some cleared some grass, scouts sweep the area, and others remove tall grasses called talahib.
One hundred trees are planted on the area, it is a huge help for the mother earth. We avoided global warming, mitigate the consequences of climate change, and rehabilitate the devastated ecology. There is only one mother earth, therefore let's do our best to protect it and love it as much as we love ourselves.
I've learned different things about this project, first is I've enhanced my leadership by leading this project. Next is loving mother earth, we also had a group discussion after the activity, we exchanged different learnings from the project.
