Tree Plantation Week
Tree is our best of friend. We should never cut trees, rather, we should plant them as more as we can. Trees give us a huge amount of oxygen, and reduce carbon -di-oxide from environment. So, we need to plant and protect them.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Mechanical Stackyard, Purbachal, Dhaka. The event was an initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works. The event was graced by the presence of the Minister of Housing and Public Works of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, as the chief guest. RAJUK Chairman Major General Dr. Siddiqur Rahman Sarkar (Retd.) as special guest and the event was presided over by the Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
From the project, we were able to learn the importance of planting and preservation of trees. Trees help us in many ways. Not only in the tree plantation week, but also we should always look after the trees. So that, we can create a better world.
