Tree Plantation At The Riverside
Our Mother Earth is facing global warming, climate change due to increasing amount of carbon. Due to which the ozone layer is also getting depleted and glaciers are melting. In view of such situation, we thought that we will take care of them by planting more trees.
We started preparing for this project a few days back. We chose the right places to plant trees in the city. After this we selected the right plants for plantation like neem plants, mango plants, banyan plants and fruit trees. After this we planted more than a hundred sapling on 5th June.
Impressed by this plantation initiative of ours., more citizens and officials of the city included IPS & IAS officers planted trees and our city Kawardha got a place in Golden world Record Book for walkathon with plant saplings and planting so many trees ata the same time . This year more than two thousand trees were planted in our city.
Our Action Matters We learned from this project that how we can contribute to save our earth by telling people about climate change and global warming and even a small steps matter to save our earth.
