Tree Plantation Project
Pollution and deforestation are everywhere, It is sure that many hazards will arise in future, Therefore farseeing them. We, RIS Scouts started a tree-planting project at our school premises using organic fertilizers because people consume unhealthy food with inorganic fertilizers, We thought of protecting Nature and man by providing poison-free healthy veggies.
This project was implemented at our School premises, we planted numerous plants along with fruits and vegetables with the usage of organic fertilizers. We didn't use any artificial items throughout this project. We planted many vegetables like long beans, Tomato, chilies, etc. We Scouts allocated different days to each patrol to treat plants by watering and also to yield the harvest. And also we made a compost bin and added compost too our cultivation.
The busy Lifestyle of man has to lead them to many improper practices like consuming unhealthy food etc. And they are distant from the self-sufficient lifestyle where they provided everything they want by their own selves. So through this project, the society could consume vegetables and fruits cultivated using organic fertilizers and the future generation will get knowledge on organic food.
Through this project, we learnt, how to maintain cultivation and also how to treat plants. Also, we learnt how to make organic fertilizers. In overall we learnt how we should protect and save nature with eco-friendly, best things.
