Tree Plantation for a Greener Future
We were inspired by the need to fight climate change and restore biodiversity in our college campus. As Rover Scouts, we wanted to create awareness about the importance of trees and contribute to a greener environment by planting rare, medicinal, and fruit-bearing trees.
We planned the plantation with our Rover Scout team at Nilphamari Govt. College. We selected suitable locations, collected saplings, and organized tools. Over two days, we planted 300 trees with teamwork and guidance from our leaders. Students and teachers also joined, making it a collaborative effort.
We learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and community involvement. The project taught us how small actions like planting trees can make a big impact. We also gained knowledge about different plant species and the value of preserving nature for future generations.
