Tide Turners Plastic Challenge Creative Campaign Week 2
Metal spoons, forks, and knives have been in history for as early as 1000BC. Plastic utensils, however? They were made back in the 1940s but not mass-produced until the 1950s. This mass production has led to an increase in waste and plastic usage.
So why are plastic utensils still prevalent even with its negative effects? Well for one, it's cheap and light. But that doesn't negate the butterfly effect it might have.
With this self-made (and comedic) video, hopefully this will shed some light on the advantages of using metal utensils today.
As a member of the Earth Tribe through the TIDE TURNERS PLASTIC CHALLENGE, I take the Clean Seas to pledge to turn the tide on plastics.
I encourage you to do the same and get 5 other people to start the campaign in fighting Plastic pollution. Do the pledge now and commit to clean seas. Help us in creating a sustainable Healthy Planet!
