Tide Turner Plastic Challenge

The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) launched the Earth Tribe in June 2020.  This new initiative are composed of challenges supporting environmental education in Scouting.  One of the challenges is the Tide Turner Plastic Challenge.  Introduced in the 24th World Scout Jamboree, the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge is a global initiative developed by UNEP, adopted by the World Scout Organization as an integral component of its Earth Tribe Initiative.

The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge will help young people to understand the impact that humans have in the world when it comes to plastic use and consumption.  It also promotes a clean, healthy planet that will contribute to a more sustainable world.

Scout Association of Hong Kong is pilot testing the challenge.
