Tickets to Life ,Bhutan
I wanted to make scouting inclusive and provide opportunities to the scouts coming from poor socioeconomic backgrounds.
Tickets to Life project was successfully implemented in genekha lower secondary school ,Thimphu, Bhutan for 32 scouts coming from diverse backgrounds and low socioeconomic status. The project was funded by APR office to improve and provide equal opportunity for all children in the school through camping and adventure activities.
The impact of the project was tremendous over the lives of the participants in ticket to life they started to feel that they are equally responsible of their own life. They started to think and learn that life is always better and precious. Therefore, making it better and productive taken care through the TTL project.
TTL Project taught our scout and leaders that life is equally valuable and creating opportunities through meaningful relationships is important.
