Teaching interpersonal skills to street children.

As a Scout I was inspired to do it because teaching street children extracurricular activities fuels their passion, nurtures creativity, and enhances critical skills. It fosters personal growth, cultivates teamwork, and promotes a well-rounded development. Empowering young minds through education creates a positive impact on society, empowering future leaders and shaping a brighter tomorrow. It also breaks the cycle of poverty, and contributes to building a stronger and more inclusive nation.

To execute the project I conducted a needs assessment to understand their interests and challenges ,partnered with volunteer scouts for support and resources. I secure funding through grants, donations, or fundraising initiatives. I developed a curriculum tailored to their needs, providing a variety of activities. ,created a safe and accessible learning space. I monitored their progress and evaluated the impact of the program to ensure continuous improvement.

Teaching street children extracurricular activities can change the nation by offering them opportunities for personal growth, skill development, social integration. It empowers them to break the cycle of poverty, become productive citizens, contribute positively to society. Through support, street children can realize their potential and create a ripple effect of positive change that transforms communities and strengthens the nation .About 70 children got benefitted from this project.

Teaching street children can provide valuable insights into interpersonal skills such as empathy, teamwork. To enhance the project, I'll focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages communication and collaboration. I'll also foster positive relationships, incorporate activities that promote problem-solving and conflict resolution & regularly assess the program's effectiveness and gather feedback from them to continually improve and adapt to their specific needs.
