After the aftermath of Category 5 Tropical Cyclone Winston in Fiji, Scout Leader like me helped the victims in RakiRaki, Tavua, Ba & Lautoka (the worst affected areas in Fiji) by giving ration packs to about 900 families worth F$50.00 per pack. We started packing on 4th March from 6pm till midnight and then left for RakiRaki from Lautoka that night. The whole of Saturday, Sunday and Monday was used to distribute Ration Packs and also supplementary packs of Exercise Books to children and to affected schools in RakiRaki, Tavua, Ba & Lautoka. The scouts were supported by the Yaadein Vision Organisation as far as ration packs were concerned....
