Regional level event “PEER EDUCATOR CUM CAMPAIGNERS WORKSHOP” (SOUTHERN REGION ) ON SWACHH BHARAT AND SUNDAR BHARAT . On behalf of Tamil Nadu Bharat Scouts & Guides Maharishi District Participated in the Regional Level Event Swachh Bharat & Sundar Bharat @ Doddaballapur Bangalore on 21st to 25th November 2014. 8 Scouts 8 Guides 6 Rovers 4 Rangers 6 Scouters & Guiders from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec.School Chetpet Chennai & Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chengalpet had participated . The theme of the camp was SWACHH BHARAT AND SUNDAR BHARAT . The camp started on 21st with flag ceremony. Mr Amar Chateri, Leader of the event, assisted by Analendra Sharma ROC(S),Sarath kumar HWB(S),Balaji murgan, Madhusuthan, C.S.Reddy LT(S)with 160 Participants. The camp gave us a brief knowledge about SWACHH Bharat (the project initiated by our prime minister). It’s not only cleaning surrounding even our heart and soul. We had Messenger of peace, Free being me , Youth forum ,Group discussion , painting, Drawing , Slogan writing ,Essay writing ,camp fire , Bp’s 6 Excersice , inspection , flag break, cleaning the campsite we had a rally at Doddaballapur market . Many adult scouters from HAL(HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICAL LTD.) came with us to motivate people about our cleanliness . We cleaned the market place , bus stop and other rushing garbage area. On 23rd our LOC introduced about M.O.P ie messenger of peace . This was initiated by Mr. MADHUSUTHAN he said that those who are conveying scouting are said to be messenger of peace .This moment says that around world people need to unite and protect our world from depletion. This moment was initiated by Indonesian scouters. On 24th and 25th Mr.MADHUSUTHAN along with his fellow being MASTER : BALAJI and MASTER: SARATH initiated about youth forum ie a brief discussion about Swachh Bharat .which results in formation of recommendation committee , this committee consist of 6scouters Gopinathan ,Nandhini Rengapadmanathan , Sahana and Sanjana .they framed a set of 7 recommendations and send to NATIONAL HEAD QUARTERS. By this on 25 th nov the camp ended after ALL faith prayer and valedictory function.Our Tamilnadu had got 19 prizes in drawing , postermaking , slogan writing , essay writing . We thank S.Namasivayam District chief commissioner of maharishi district and also we thank state chief commissioner ,state secretary ,state organizing commissioner scouts and guides for giving us this opportunity .
