SWACHHTA HI SEVA
Scouting laws are motivating of it reflects what we are and what we should be. Cleanliness is to Godliness. Many a times there used to be garbage, dirt near school premise and a lay by place and also a road. Charity begins at home. On the occasion of cleanliness fortnight and our service to society made us took this project.
We took the meeting on 30 September 2023 about the cleanliness campaign at cub pack in Nandurbar (Maharashtra). The hazards of unclean places, health issues and cleanliness benefits were part of our discussion. We decided the number of participants. We also decided the area to be cleaned. On 1 October2023 we gathered together in school and started the work. The grass, garbage, was picked. The places were cleaned with brooms. The Village people, teachers and other children too joined us.
Around 150 people including school children , nearby houses were benefitted by this project activity. The community praised the efforts of the volunteers and they agreed on to keep the premise clean and tidy including their house yards.
A good initiative makes impact on our service. The efforts were counted as the children, villagers joined the project. The project taught us we will make our home, area, village clean and tidy for our good health. We also learn to serve others is to serve God.
