SWA Discovery Workshop (Tarlac Montessori School)
As per the Boy Scouts of the Philippines National Memorandum No. 32, Series 2019, for all duly registered Senior Scout Outfit and Rover Circle who wants to take the Scouts of the World Award Challenge, the 2019 Brigada Eskwela is definitely a great start under Development Education criteria.
The Tarlac Montessori School organized a team of eleven (11) duly-registered Scouts and two (2) duly-registered Outfit Advisors serving as SW Supporters and Advisers.
During the SWA Discovery Workshop (May 14 to 16, 21 hours), the Scouts were able to do the activities from the Scouts of the World Award Activity Sheets, NSO Implementation Manual and Programme Guidelines. The Scouts were also able to conduct an occular inspection at Doña Arsenia Elementary School, Calingcuan, Tarlac City, Tarlac in coordination with Rosalie S. Cabarios (School Principal), Edwin I. Pagco (Brigada Eskwela Coordinator of DAES), and Nelson C. Blanche (Barangay Chairman) and identified the needs of the school that the Scouts want to address (establishing a Reading Center)
The Scouts were also able to come up with their SMART Goals and Plans regarding their service project and successfully communicated it to all concerned school stakeholders and community officials.
The TMS Scouting Movement would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth T. Asiaten, TMS School Directress, Dr. Steve Noel L. Dayao, TMS High School Principal, Sctr. Salve Z.
