Survival Cooking Initiative
The motivation behind this project was to learn how people can survive and cook food in emergency situations like natural disasters, power shortages, or remote areas where modern cooking facilities are not available. We wanted to explore simple, traditional methods using natural resources such as fire, stones, and leaves to ensure food security and safety.
We demonstrated survival cooking methods using natural materials without modern stoves. Potatoes were cooked using hot stones and fire. We also wrapped food like eggs in banana leaves, covered them with soil, and cooked them using heat from fire and natural insulation. Dry leaves and wood were used as fuel to maintain the fire.
This showed how food can be prepared safely in emergency situations using simple, natural resources.
