Scouting for Education The four days Summer Camp for Nazhoen Scouts was organized at Zhemgang Central School funded by the Dzongkhag Education Sector from 4th to 9th July 2016 to 9th July 2016. The camp was organized to impart the wholesome education to the scouts and to engage youths during summer break. More importantly the camp was organized to celebrate the birth of Gyalsey on behalf of Zhemgang Dzongkhag in particular the education sector. There were twelve volunteers who worked tirelessly and selflessly. There were forty-eight participants, thirteen from Yebilaptsa Middle Secondary School, three from Zhemgang Central School ‘A’ and thirty-two from Zhemgang Central School ‘B’. To empower them the knowledge and to assist them, there were four scoutmasters who volunteered to render their service voluntarily. It was started from 4th July and it was ended on 9th July 2016. Tent pitching, backwoods Man Cooking, First Aid, Community Service, History about Zhemgang Dzong, Driklam Namzha, Adventure base, Hiking, Sense training, quiz competition, culture night campfire are were few to mention.
