Students in Action for Better WASH

Students identified poor sanitation facilities, limited hygiene supplies and other health-related challenges at their school. They wanted to take action together to create a safer and healthier school environment.
Students helped renovate and equip school sanitation facilities, created hygiene corners, replenished the “Nandin Box” with emergency sanitary products, and tested drinking water from different sources.
We learned that students can create practical solutions when they are involved in identifying problems and improving their own school environment.
