The event we did was Street Patrol, where we learn to give to the less fortunate of our community. The Ventures met up at the Assistant Company Leaders house with food and clothing. At her house we sorted out the clothing in the groups we will be going with downtown. We also made the sandwiches and packed them into bags. We then bussed to Dundas station and split into our groups. In our four groups we all walked different routes for an hour and met up at a Salvation army at the end, where we donated the extra clothing items we had. It was a very successful event as many of the Ventures learned about giving back to our community, and experiencing the fact that small actions can make a big difference.
