State level trekking for rovers was organised by the bharat scout and guide state headquarter Himachal Pradesh.Trekking is started from Govt. sr. sec. school sarain (Chaupal),Shimla,Himachal Pradesh from 16 july to 20 july 2017.Overall 82 rovers,rover leaders,state headquarter staff did actively their duty as well as participation in trekking.The main purpose of this trekking to check the physical strength of rovers and to give the knowledge of nature.Daily detail description of trekking is given below:- DAY 1:- opening ceremony with flag host and prayer and flag song. Briefing of trekking route from Govt. sr. sec. school Sarain to Chuddhar and back to base camp and registration of participated rovers. DAY2:- B.P. six in morning. Trekking strated sarain to jhokkar.It is mostly offroad route,foresty path around 14 km.The day was foggy and it was drizzling all day but rovers track their route with rain cote.group started journey 10 am and group reach at destination at 5 pm. At night group did camp fire. DAY3:- As usual day started with B.P.six. After this we take breakfast and start trek to final destination chuddhar. Group track almost hilly area.As day 2 weather is same.Rovers created Emblem of BSG with stones at campfire side.Group reach chuddhar temple as dawn.Group did campfire besides group were very tired. DAY 4:- same as other days.In the morning all group went to Chuddhar peak at 5 am which is known as "7th kailash".After breakfast we track back to our base camp sarain.Group reached at Sarain about 5 pm.This day we did grand camp fire. DAY5:- This day is closing day. Morning as group did all day , its time of BP six. After this We did flag host .Group did breakfast .After breakfast we did our closing ceremony with taking of flag ,national entham, flag song,prayer.All the participants went back to their home. Special thing of this camp was that group clean their surroundi ngs and all trekking path.They collect rapers in big packtes and destroy them.
