State Level Mapping and Star Gazing Training Camp organised by BSG Karnataka was held at Dr Annie Besant Scouts and Guides State Training and Camping Centre , Doddaballapura , Bengaluru from 07th to 11th January 2019. It was conducted under the able Guidance of Sri. K G Gopalakrishna , LT(S). The camp had 200+ Rovers, Rangers , Scouts and Guides from various Districts of Karnataka. The Main Objective of the Camp was to inculcate knowledge about Maps, Map Making, Different types of Maps, Star Gazing , Identification of Stars and Constellations. Classes were conducted by Staff of Jawarharlal Nehru Planetarium and Staff of Survey of India. I was proud to be a part of the Camp as a Participant and a Service Rover.
