Staff Orientation Programme 'Capacity Enhanced'

In a bid to give more attention to capacity building measures, the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides conducted the Staff Orientation Programme, for its 11 out of 14 staff, in this 2 days programme. During this programme modern and management learning methods were effectively utilised for the benefit of the staff as well as the office and the Movement as a whole. Varied topics like Self-Appraisal, Group evaluation of works, Information Overload, Professionalism in the work place, Story telling and writing, Our Colourful Tree, Individual Action Plan, Change & Organisational Management, Empowerment versus Red Tapism, Persuasion steps, Work Reports and a discussion on the Panel Video of the 1st World Scout Education Congress were carried out, along with an orientation on the Messengers of Peace action along with a Hard Talk Discussion on Discipline, Bonus and Pay and Employee of the Year. The State Headquarters invest heavily on enhancing the capacity of the staff for better operations and for better Scouting.
