Kuengao Scout members and three scout leaders with two interested CBS went for a spiritual hike at Darchen.

The objectives of the hike were:

1. To gain spiritual insight
2. To promote theme of scout (know self & immediate environment)
3.  To recreate and strengthen the mentality of scouts
4.  To promote health through scouting and hiking.
5. To promote the importance of team work

The hiking was a wonderful one we have visited the lakes nearby and many religious sites where we were explained by the Lhakhang caretaker. We had mopped and coloured the floor of the lhakhang using the materials from the forest. The hiking was a successful one as everyone reached back home safely. The major challenge was to walk uphill and while returning we had to battle with heavy shower however we did not give up we had visited Nangkhar Gonpa on our way back to the school.
