Coinciding with the Coronation day of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo , June 2nd is also celebrated as Social Forestry Day in Bhutan. To pay tribute to His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck and to mark the day, Desuups of Mongar Dzongkhag and the Scouts of Mongar HSS, Sherub Reldri HSS & Kilikhar MSS planted 1000 saplings at Chompa, Korila.
