Smile with MOP activities in this Pandemic
Education is no easy task
The MOP seventeen Sustainable Development Goals, a blueprint for creating a better world, has named “quality education” as its fourth goal. One target of that goal is ensuring that by 2030, all children have the means to complete a “free, equitable, and quality primary and secondary education.”
It’s a monumental goal. Even in the best times, providing correct education with more awareness and making them realise the real motive for the existence on this Earth that's to bring a smile on someone's face is far more complex than just getting them into a classroom. Are the teachers regularly trained? Do the children have access to proper nutrition? Are they physically healthy and well enough to learn? Does the school have adequate sanitation? Is there a safe, reliable way for teachers and children to get to school? Are there issues at home? Can parents help with homework? Does the family’s need for income mean the child is working instead of being at school?
The school closures, job losses, and need for physical distance have further complicated things.
Fortunately, our organisation 'The Bharat Scouts and Guides' with the strength of MOP initiatives has a history of tackling the world’s most challenging issues. With years of experience while working for MOP initiatives have addressed the needs that lie ahead and by making each and every member aware with their duties and responsibilities of being human recognised humanity within them and even this hard times took the initiative to train people's by the modes of theory, games, fun and learnings and made reached the motive of MOP activities with its clear mission and vision that's is what we can say a ray has created a numerous rays of hope and strength which will help in creating a better world.
