"I was inspired by the urgent need to address climate change and environmental degradation through the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a Scout, I felt a personal responsibility to take direct action to preserve our local ecosystem, believing that even small-scale reforestation efforts can contribute to a larger global impact."
"The execution began with identifying suitable land for reforestation, as seen in Scouts for SDG, and selecting native saplings that would thrive in the local climate. I organized and participated in hands-on planting sessions, ensuring each tree was properly positioned and supported for long-term growth. To ensure sustainability, I am integrating monitoring techniques to track the health of the saplings and maintain the site regularly."
"Through this project, I learned the critical importance of selecting the right native species to ensure ecological balance and long-term survival in our local environment. I gained a deeper understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how individual community service acts can contribute to global climate resilience."
