Environmental sustainability is defined as responsible interaction with the environment to avoid depletion or degradation of natural resources and allow for long-term environmental quality. The practice of environmental sustainability helps to ensure that the needs of today's population are met without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. We the scouts of S.T.S decided to take this topic for our community development project. We asked the permission our Scout Master and parents to undertake this project. We worked for at least two hours in a week for six months. We distributed pamphlets and held sessions. We cleaned our surroundings and helped towards the betterment of our society.
