Gesarling Scout Unit observes every Wednesday as the scout day. This scout unit is merged with Gesarling Central School, which is roughly 17 km from Dagapela, under Dagana Dzongkhag (State) in Bhutan. On 6th June, i being the unit leader conducted a session on first aids. The session was attended by 40 scouts under this unit. First aids briefed were on Cardiopuimonary resuscitation (Basic life Support), partial and complete choking, treating wounds, improvised stretchers and various use of scarfs in any accident. This session was held to make scouts to get familiarized with such live saving techniques and to prepare them for any accidental incident that they may come across.
