One of our Venturers, Adam Peters joined his local branch of the SES to assist the locals at Tallangatta and the surrounding areas. These guys are called on to assist in National Disasters, Flood Relief and Search Parties. They have to go though a large amount of training to get qualified, just like Scouting. Adam has done a lot of training on equipment and maps for part of this task. Below is just a taste of the volunteer training and work Adam has gone though to get where he is today, classed as a Junior Member of the Tallangatta SES.
