We The Bharath Scouts and Guides Udupi, had got an opportunity to render service and become a part of the Independence Day Parade . As per this we had to train ourselves and even other guides of different schools. We fuides ha started the marchpast training around a week before so that we are well prepared for the 3 days training hosted by the Udupi Police Patrol on 12 , 13 and 14 th of August. We started our trainin sessions on 6th August. I have chosen the SDG's and each Topic for a definite reason.

The SDG's :

1. Decent Jobs For Economic Growth: This service is all about a decent job that inspires other people and develops a feeling of patirotism... this spirit of patriotism helps in the economic growth of the country.

2.Gender Equality: Here all girls and boys participate together without any thought that girls are weaker gender when compared to boys. The victory of us Guides by securing the 1st place in all the 3 levels of the competiton states that "Girls are strong enough to build an Empire."

3. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: A peaceful community is built which is justice orientated which leads to building of Strong Institutions

4. Quality Education: this is a example for students to join hands to help in the economic growth of the country which gives quality education to all the youths.

5.Reduced inequalities: In India inequality is a major obstacle in economic development. So these type of programmes where the youths  are engaged together to achieve goals despite they are of different caste, creed, race, etc leads to reduction in inequality.

6.Sustainable Communities: this youth programme helps in development in the character of youth which leads to the development of their family activities which in turn leads to a Sustainable Community.

7.Partnerships for Goals: There is a kind of partnership since many institutions join together to achieve certain goals

Topics:

1.better world framework: this youth programme helps in communicating with the world and helps in the development of countrys framework whick in turn leads to better world frame work.

2.good governance: the youths are taught and developed the feelings of patriotism, discipline, co-operation,. etc. which in turn helps in good governance.

3. Spiritual development: There is a spiritual development done by this programme.

4. Youth engagement:  This is a programme that is fully dependent on the engagement of the youth in the service

5. Youth programme: It is a youth programme because many youth are brought together to increase the spirit of patriotism in them. 

We practised daily for around 3 to 7 hrs . As a result of this we guides bagged the 1st place in the Marchpast Parade on the Independence Day. Thank u.
