Helping a helpless, needy person is equal to serving God. I believe it need not be extravagant. it could be some thing simple and much needed. This is exactly what we did. We provided lunch for the homeless and penniless people, living on the road, who find it extremely difficult to find one meal per day. We prepared the lunch ourselves, packed them and setup am meal with rice and idlis, sweet, a banana and a water bottle. We then started on foot and went around our locality and distributed them to all those in need. W covered quite a huge area distributing these. Everyone deserves to have their basic needs satisfied. We are happy that we were able tho provide atleast one meal for them. Like BP said "The most worth-while thing is to try to put happiness into the lives of others." I think we made few people by our act and hope to do much more in the future.
