Service in Every Seed: Planting Beyond Duty
Inspired by our desire to help the community in a simple, sustainable way — by growing fresh vegetables through our vertical garden. As Scouts, they wanted to promote responsible consumption, care for nature, and serve others. Seeing the positive impact of their past gardening efforts motivated them to keep planting and growing for the community.
Scouts carried out the project by regularly tending to our vertical garden—planting, watering, and reusing materials for pots. During the storm surge, Scouts already secured the plants in the greenhouse to protect them. Despite limited resources, they continued with teamwork and dedication to serve the community
Scouts learned the value of consistency, teamwork, and care for nature. The project taught them that even small efforts—like planting and maintaining a garden—can create a big impact. Scouts also realized the importance of resilience, especially when facing challenges like storms and limited resources.
