Service on the Eid-ul-Fitr at the Eidgah
Local residents volunteered on behalf of the 50th Eid-ul-Fitr congregation at Jugishow Kewatola Bazar Eidgah Maidan of Durgapur Police Station in Rajshahi District. Our job is to clean the Eidgah on the eve of Eid and make it suitable for prayers. My inspiration is humanity.
I used to persuade young boys around me to help in cleaning the Eidgah. Our aim is to prepare the Eidgah so that all the worshipers can perform the Eid prayers properly. The project is held every year for 2 days on Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. The local youth and youth and the Muazzim Sahib of the mosque helped in this.
By doing this we got spiritual peace. Because hundreds of worshipers have been able to perform Eid prayers properly due to the cleaning of the Eidgah. If everyone helps in such social development work, self-confidence increases and there is no difficulty in doing more work.
